CHALADDRAT partnered with two non-governmental organizations, PAC-Net Women’s Health and Youth Development Initiative, and Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON), Anambra State Branch, to carry out free medical outreach programme mainly for pregnant women and children, on 12th March, 2020, at Nkpor, Idemili-North L.G. A Anambra state.

CHALADDRAT partnered with PAC-Net Women’s Health and Youth Development Initiative an NGO, and Department of Obs/Gyn Nnamdi Azikiwe University to carry out a training workshop on women centered post abortion care and the use of manual vacuum Aspirator for a total of 121 Internists medical doctors working at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH). The workshop was aimed at building the capacity of the health-care workers to provide women with high-quality PAC-services and to guide them on improving the quality of care available to women who are in need of uterine evacuation services.

Proposal writing/Grantmanship training for students and researchers carried out on 21st April 2021 at Ajulu-Uzodike Auditorium, NAUTH, Nnewi Anambra State.

 

ADVOCACY

In collaboration with PAC-Net women’s Health and Youth Development Initiative, CHALADDRAT embarked on a radio talk programme to mark the 2020 international Women’s day. The radio talk was given by Prof. Brian-D Adinma who focused on gender inequality, gender based violence and traditional practices harmful to women.
